Role at Axis
I look after the money and help devise and implement our business strategy. I also lead the team responsible for the development and running of services to our artists.
I'm also a member of the Steering Group for Turning Point - Yorkshire.
Background
I have been at Axis a long time! Having experienced the lows and highs (mainly highs) of Axis development I am still passionate and excited about what Axis can achieve.
Before Axis I worked for the Dance Project (a Dance Education Agency). I always wanted to be a professional dancer, but alas the dance world was not quite ready for my unique style. I have also been involved in various community art based projects.
I am a graduate of the Common Purpose Leadership programme and have a BA (Hons) degree in Arts and Business Management from Sheffield Hallam University.

be everyone’s best friend at the end of the month (in the lead up to pay day).

listening to Kara (I have no choice, she sits next to me).
Favourite technology...
are those dancing games you find at the seaside arcades, and I can tell you I get quite a crowd when in full flow!
