Hanae Utamura

A Sculpture made by human and nature. The work shows the trail of interventions artist made in the disaster-hit area by recent tsunami in Japan. The artist collected pieces of wood from a destroyed home and placed at the bottom of an electric pole in an ordered gesture of tsunami's vortex, at odds with the chaos of debris shaped by tsunami just above it.
