This arts project combines the conception, planning and creation of the Johnson Fold art feature with a long term public engagement programme as a central element.

The artwork should reflect back to the community the years worth of time, energy and love that people on Johnson Fold have already put into the area.

The programme involve residents within the process of creativity and concept development.

As part of this process we embarked on a 'guerrilla art' festival where we created and took down external artworks within one day. This has proved to create a buzz and debate about public art within the estate. It also offered another way to engage with residents.
