CJ Mahony

Limited Addition formed part of the commissioned project Crop Marks and took the form of week long residency. Myself and six other artists where selected to work with residence on a current housing development, to create site specific temporary art works. This work responded directly to the processes and buildings of the site, in their various “states” of completion. The 'towers' created take up 'a' position in the landscape echoing the forms of the buildings around them. The work is made up of four towers and six plinths each disparate towers eco's the nature of approach to housing development and selling of land.
