Susie MacMurray

Commissioned by Manchester Art Gallery to celebrate the festive season. This work has links with their current exhibition Angels of Anarchy: Women Artists and Surrealism. MacMurray references Meret Oppenheim’s iconic surrealist Object, a teacup, saucer and spoon covered completely in fur. Each glass is individually rimmed with lipstick.
