Andrew Crane

This painting is a stranger to me.
When I'd finished it, I had no idea what to call it. So I took a book off the shelf, opened it and pointed.

This is what I read:

Entia non sunt multiplicanda praeter necessitatem
No more things should be presumed to exist than are absolutely necessary.
