The work combines Ann's anti-car message with her political views especially relating to the gulf war. The title clearly evokes the famous 'This is not a pipe' work but encourages us to push further, not merely questioning the notion what art is but questioning the notion of a 'justified war' by reminding us that the given pretext for a war is not necessarily the one which underlies the actual reasons.
