My most challenging work to date. The piece is made up of 9 photograph which create my largest work to date at 150cm wide. By chance (as with the nature of my work) I was in Berlin and discovered the building 'Palace of the Republic'. Initially I was fascinated by the size, structure, and modernist design of the construction. On a deeper level the building, now in the process of being knocked down reveals a deeper, political message: The West German attitude to get rid of and destroy everything of the former German Democratic Republic.
