City of Peace was commissioned sculpture for the roof of a restaurant in the Peace Gardens, Sheffield City Centre, UK. The work depicts seven life-sized doves perched on a chimney, their shape taken from Picasso's poster for the Second World Peace Congress, which was held in Sheffield in 1950.
