After working with John, time became an increasing fascination in my work. I went onto to read and be inspired by the essay 'Of Clouds and Clocks' by Karl Popper. I made 'Einstein' during a residency in Bremen in July. I was influenced by the clocks situated around the abandoned factory which had all stopped at 18:50. I created a fictional narrative about a character whom collected and stored time, blending this with visuals which captured the sense of time passing through slowness, broken buildings, light and water.
