'Assassins Blow' (taken from the national anthem God Save The Queen).
This work directly follows on from the ICA Soundworks piece where I've been observing and recording the natural landscapes. This piece echoes previous pieces taking a simple recording, in this case a short smartphone recording of a bluebell wood, through repetition and layering the video becomes a brush stroke, building up a whole new image, through this practice a Turner sky materialised. It is a continuing exploration into video as an organic textural medium.
