Set at one end of the newly raised dam at Tilgate Park, Crawley, Sussex, and at the meeting point of three paths is Waterlife, a sculpture formed by two curving elements rising up from the ground. On one face are carved a selection of the various aquatic plants found in Tilgate Lake:COMMON REED – YELLOW WATER LILY – WATER CROWFOOT - PURPLE LOOSESTRIFE – AMPHIBIOUS BISTORTOn the other face a food chain from the lake is depicted: PIKE - ROACH – DIAPTOMUS – DAPHNIA – DIATOM
