Locked Up, 2012

Trees have an important role to play in our ecosystem. They are an invaluable part of the cycle of life on Earth, cleaning the air we breathe and creating vital supplies of oxygen for our survival.

‘Locked Up’ is a series of miniatures exploring a tree’s ability to 'lock up' some of the carbon we create in our everyday lives, whether it be through using an electrical appliance, growing the food we eat, or driving a car. It is a celebration of the power they hold, a thank you for all that they do for us.
