Paint and other materials are applied to the picture plane and progressively removed and manipulated; the plastic nature of the surface is paramount as a 'terrain' to be explored within a deliberately shallow pictorial space.

Titles are essentially nominal, in this example, the title reflects the intention to create an image that is the product of an 'event' and that is self-consciously enigmatic in nature.

There are deliberately few figurative references or hints of a physical context.
