'Mille Fleur' was commissioned by the Royal United Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, Bath. It is a commemorative architectural glass screen which celebrates the opening of The Dyson Centre for Neo Natal Intensive Care. Project Architects: Fielden Clegg Bradley StudiosMain Contractors: VinciThe glass screen adjoins a parents & visitors courtyard with landscape design & planting by Robin Williams & Associates. The project was funded by the Forever Friends Appeal, through the NICU 'space to grow' Campaign & managed by Hetty Dupays, Arts Programme Manager: Art at the Heart of the RUH.The work comprises 6 panels of 10mm toughened low iron glass assembled into 3 double panel sealed units. Three out of four of the glass faces are treated with sandblasting & ceramic etch techniques.The work was designed & manufactured in collaboration with Proto Studios Ltd in Pewsey, Wiltshire.
