Joining Force, - 2011

Designed to reflect and celebrate the current combined operations at Northwood Headquarters, UK’s premier military headquarters site, Joining Force stands as a single circular form consisting of three components, locked together and yet separate and unique in their individual contribution to the whole. Fabricated from polished stainless steel, the reflection of the viewer: Navy, Army, Air Force or civilian provides the fourth element. The sculpture ‘Joining Force’ operates on the concept of the whole being greater than the sum of the individual parts.

“ Joining Force is dedicated to all of those, both Service and Civilian, who have given their lives in honour of their country. Northwood Headquarters 2011.”
