Elements – Arsenic, Iodine, Oxygen and Mercury.

The pieces in this multimedia installation represent the four elements and their uses in lighting. In 'Mercury' a cupboard is opened to reveal a chemistry lab of fluorescing liquids under ultraviolet mercury lights, from the everyday liquids like tonic water and clothes washing liquid to rhodamine and fluorescein.
