'Boundary Lines' evolved from bringing together observations from a variety of sources centred on the concept of Boundaries - boundaries in the landscape, boundaries between men's work & women's work, and boundaries between art and craft.

The materials and method of construction have been chosen to reflect the controlling and restricting aspect of boundaries.
