Gary James Williams

This work is a single frame taken from the moving image ‘pursuing the narrative’. Itself a component work created as part of the exhibition of the same name in collaboration with artist/writer Jo Manby, exploring the blurred frontier between written & visual fictions.
The moving image originally taken from archival footage is continually processed in real and precedent time. Dissolving and regenerating, the process instigates the ephemeral, acquiring apparent histories & accumulating narratives of visual fiction.
