Stoneform

This site-specific artwork was commissioned to commemorate children of the Borough of Poole and to serve as a place for peaceful contemplation. The piece takes the form of three benches set around a paved circle with a small water feature at its centre. The paving is incised with a poem and the general theme is the seaside; the bench tops taking the form of breaking waves and the sand-textured stone of the paving imprinted with children's footprints.
