Kitchen Sink Drama, 2010

Oh, for those student days! Remember the days of being one of The Young Ones? Dishes would only get washed when all the clean ones had been used, the sink would become a biology lesson and girls ... never visited. This painting forms part of my Panoramic Interior installation project, a project which is rather like washing the dishes as it never seems to end! The Panoramic Interior will be a real space where visitors will walk from room to room but instead of encountering real objects will only see paintings of them, it will be a sort of 2.5D tromp l'oeil.

Diptych, 195cm x 175cm
