OPAQUE 9:'Learning is based on believing- Knowledge is based on acceptance'.[Wittgenstein], 2009 - 2011
This image is about choas on many levels and about the attempt to create boundaries. The image presents a sense of friction between passivity [the black fur] and movement [ the myriad of objects caught up in the flow between]. This aspect reminds me that images are always at the 'effect' of verbal language, since an image has to defined and completed though word and texts.
Background reading:H.Cixous: 'The Body and the Text ' and Wittgenstein's 'Philosophical Investigations'.
