This is part one of an epic film about the memory of the Cold War. Par One: Yury Gagarin's space flight. Made with found footage sourced from the Internet, it is a video mash-up of fragmented memories and half glimpsed images from the past reconfigured into an incomplete and unsatisfying narrative, that at the same time challenges the 'official' narrative of the Cold War, then and now.
