Staying Afloat: is enough enough?, 2011

This site-specific environmental installation occupied a storm water pool on the south end of Thirroul Beach NSW. This whimsical work suggests a survival attempt or a displacement narrative, the story's outcome is inconclusive and the rafts sits abandoned as if washed up on the sand by a huge tide/storm.

180cm x 200cm x 150cm

bamboo stems & leaves, adhesive, string, china cup, grass seed, foam, varnish.
