Placing A Pause By Kneeling & Staring At Two Holes, 2010 - 2011

Performance and installation instructions:

As the title of this work suggests, the visitor is asked to pause, by kneeling on the LPR matt. Finding the two small holes in the wall he stares at them. Once the visitor is able to generate an optical-stereoscopic effect, where the eyes create one additional point from the two initially seen, he holds the position for a desired period. Once the visitor stops, and rises he can perceive, for a brief moment, two knee imprints left on the matt, a trace of where his single body was still and kneeling.
