One Man's Treaure, 2010

'Treasures' from the artists' collection presented on a pagan-disco Christmas tree in a shop-window over the festive period. Commissioned by Illuminate for 'The Longest Night'. These found objects hold more resonance than most brand new gifts long since forgotten. The work playfully reconfigures the nativity and it's narrative relationships and comments on what constitutes value in an age where consumerism corrupts ancient rituals.
