Ralph Dorey

A research project conducted during the 2010 artist residency at Meltdowns studio and foundry, Ramsgate, Kent. The project consisted of an investigating into the possibilities of making sculpture within, and in response to, the moment. The project developed over 5 weeks through experimentations in sculpture, drawing, writing, dialogue, climbing, camping, cycling and combinations of these. The project is the starting point for an ongoing research endeavour entitled The School of The Moment and a series of publications.
