«Total Eclipse of the Sun», was responding to Moray Hillary's exhibition «Backsliding Fearlessly», following a two month residency at Hoherweg studios. I sat outside of the gallery space of Moray's exhibition, wearing a costume including a hood over my head and broken marble taped to my body. I was clutching a log, also with broken marble taped to it. After an hour I came into the exhibition space and asked audience members to help me find my way to the garden. In the garden I lifted myself in the crane, still clutching the log, before turning upside down, hood falling off, letting go of the log, and slowly letting dead yellow leaves drop from my mouth. I went down again, put the hood back on, picked up the log, and asked audience members to help me find my way back to the gallery where I finally put the log down.
