'Untitled (fantastica) firstly takes reference from the collage works - a character which has removed itself from the picture plane and leapt into the gallery space. It incorporates a morse code sequencer; the lights flashing simultaneously. The noise of the switch, combined with blinking lights, suggests that it is alive in a playful anthropomorphism that recalls a history of story telling in which animals and machines take up human characteristics and come to life.
