Site specific installation including cast fragments of a small Victorian fireplace, wrapped in stretched polyethylene, drawn together and reassembled with carpet thread. Placed under a small glowing hearth-like light, the work seeks to negate a sense of place and permanence whilst the work in its delicate monumental form could actually collapse at any moment.
