Rose Rose

A pair of kid gloves hover around a gold painted shell brought back from the East. I worked with the idea of materialising a hidden aspect of the subconscious; as in other images in the 'Objects of Desire' series the processes and contradictions within of 'creativity' are forefronted in this work. There is also an obvious metaphor at work with "kid glove treatment" which indicates the volitility of visualisation and the processes of "materialing" it. The tag offers a suggested 'reading' of it.
