Sophia Dawson

This postcard edition encapsulates my relationship with textiles and the weather.  The space, or pause, which separates the (textile) adjectives from the (weather) nouns, allows the viewer to read and respond to the text on a number of different levels, as the words dissolve across, and up and down the page.  The last pairing serendipitously describes my video installation 'Fugue' in as simple and succinct a manner as possible.
