This 26 point paper construction was built as a reaction to the emptiness of the 'lack'. The star's rays radiate centrally, so in a reduced way, point in all directions; it's 'everything' contrasting with the lack's 'nothing'. But just as the the lack's nothing is 'something', the star's something is also 'nothing'.
