In 1977 Marina Abramovic and Ulay performed Relation in Movement, a sixteen hour circuit around the square in Place du Tokyo , Paris in a Citroen H van driving around and around into the dark announcing each lap counted through a megaphone until after 2226 laps there was sufficient clarity to reveal the large engine oil and tyre marked circle in the square. This work records my response to the ephemeral tyre marked square after reconstructing the event in a scale of 1:50.
