My Blood Self is a series that uses repeating images in different works to cause a Déjà vu quality. Civilizations (Part 2) continues where Part 1 left off, by showing how knowledge was transferred from Africa especially Egypt across the Atlantic to South and Central America to end up influencing the development of the Inca and Mayan civilizations. It also shows the connection to both these places during and after slavery and the current ongoing sociopolitical problems.
