Seat, 2008

A group of mixed age pupils designed a seat for their school playground. The themes of Equality & Diversity were the starting point for the design. The interlocking shapes & different colours of the back represents how people of different races, religions & colours can come together in harmony, creating something bigger than the sum of its parts. The back & legs are made in mild steel & powder coated. The seat is Iroko wood.
