The performance 'Book Concerto in one Act' presents itself as a concerto for 90 Penguins. The word 'penguin' quantifies both the designated number of books (instruments) and performers (orchestra). Carefully devised, the concerto comprises of the entirety of a book's pages being both simultaneously read and then turned to create an ensemble of pages in turn. Coined by the artist, 'book concerto'. Each 'Penguin' represents a different leaf (double-sided page) of the book.
