Del Whitticase

'Somewhere between falling and walking' was made in response to the vast, desolate ex-industrial space of the old Marchon factory site in Whitehaven. I wanted to put some gentleness back into the hard industrial landscape in order to bring some softness and humanity back to the site. The images projected onto each screen are of local people dancing. Each image is slowed down to create an elegant, serene and ethereal spectacle within the surrounding landscape.
