Communication, 2007

Resource Centre artwork commissioned for South Bromsgrove High School, Worcestershire. Made for the new building in conjunction with Impact Art, FCB Studios, the school and HBG. The commission brief was ''Communication with Reference to Languages and Technology''. This was set to reflect the school''s specialist status subjects. My aim was to make an abstract, non-literal artwork which created a dialogue with the surrounding architecture. The piece was created using screen printed enamel on float glass with sandblasted sections. The toughened panels were backed with a safety film and bolted onto the curtain walling within the resource centre.
