Koh Larn, 2007

Video focusing on interplay of light, colour, composition and sound. Ferries ride a heavy swell in a Thai harbour - their' hulls grind the dock to make a watery symphony of squealing rubber and heavy thuds. The joining of arms and hands, as crew help passengers board makes the extreme physical forces appear more threatening. A timeless, fraternal ritual of clasped hands, locked arms, and children passed between adults, is repeated at disembarkation.
