Although my art practices may vary; photography is my primary medium I prefer to work. Initially, ''Housemates'' was small project but it did not complete due to number of reasons. I only managed to take photos of my two housemates Neal and Mark.

Neal is an interesting character. He was studying film when we were housemates. He always used to explore his identity by dressing up differently; doing make ups, different hair styles etc.

During shooting, Neal changed his outfit many times as well as his facial expression to create different roles. He became penniless musician from glamour model.

Overall, it was satisfying experience for me as a photographer because when I see this person through lenses; just before my eyes he bares his identity as a very serious individual not just next door cheerful student.

The one I am displaying on Axis is a single image out of over 100 images. Especially, on this particular shot Neal is looking so real and so true.
