6 SERIES OF PHOTOGRAPHIC WORK, 2007

This series of photos are part of the main art project titled Packing/Unpacking. Working from the subject of my mother's deel, a Mongolian traditional garment, this series of photographs recalls memories of my mother who lives thousand miles away from me. The photographs transform into physical landscapes and become metaphors for distance and intimacy, apart yet embracing.
