Cradle to Cradle II, 2007

An unpredictable and living installation occupying an urban courtyard in the heart of Brighton. Consisting of strings anchored within the courtyard and radiating out to the fence. Bean plants germinate and grow up into the strings from glass flasks and the surrounding garden. Four squares of turf support various items such as apples with hooks, a rock circle and soap castings of electric plugs.

200cm x 700cm x 1100cm

bean seeds, string, glass flasks, soap castings, apples, metal hooks & sugar rock
