In using the vibrant colour palette of the Leeds Art Festival: Situation Leeds07, Janis represented the pink and orange colours by the literal use of strawberries and oranges in the event. Installing a fruit stall inside the gallery, she displayed during the launch of Situation Leeds piles of oranges and strawberries and fresh smoothies that was served to the visitors by the greengrocers of her stall.
