Six Snowy Spirals, 2007

'Six Snowy Spirals' is the result of experimenting with the properties of a light fall of partly melted spring snow. Each spiral started out as a tightly compacted snowball and was gently rolled out from the middle. The dimensions of the spiral are dictated by the physical limits of how far I could push the snow boulders as they became very heavy and unresponsive till the point of collapse.
