Reposition, 2006

Masking tape is taped from the floor to the ceiling and back again to make a rectangular shape. This appears as flat or imaginary plane. Several of these shapes are set up so that they overlap one another. Although stuck to the floor the tape seems to float like a drawing in space. From the front the tape appears to drop out of thin air catching the light at intervals. Associations include imaginary doors, windows, sheets of glass, screens, drawings, airy spaces, cages and spiders threads.
