Sally Kidall

This large installation is a salt encrusted string net suspended from the roof structure of the building and is spread and attached to the surrounding walls. Runner bean plants climb strings, suspended from the net, growing from glass flasks sitting on the salt scattered ground. Salt crystals also grow from similarly suspended strings but from salt solution filled test tubes. The piece grows and changes during its display.
