A hinged burnished steel case which opens to show its contents of white plaster. The plaster has been cast around a stack of washing up and has been cut open to reveal the spaces where the stack once was. The case is robust and industrial while the plaster cast is delicate and easily destroyed. The title refers both to the time we spend on small tasks and to nuclear decay.
