Stones from a talc mine near Mosset, 2002
From the boxed object project, a collection/installation of objects found in the landscape, domestic and painted objects, with text. It evokes the contrast between wild, non human nature and the domestic at its most extreme: dark winter woods and cold grey Pyrenneean landscape in November are placed in opposition to a predominance of hot coloured objects and wool objects. Conversely there is a confusion between the two: and all domestic resources come from the landscape. MDF and perspex boxes were made to fit each object, size between 9.5 cm sq and 1.92 x 1.25m, 4 - 30cm deep. (twenty so far, ongoing).
