We photographed people in busy urban areas such as Liverpool Street Station London. Sculptures are fabricated based on these original photographs. The sculptures were set up in various compositions and locations, sometimes vast and spectacular landscapes, which we then re-photographed with a medium format camera. This series has been created during recent trips to the Mojave Desert and Death Valley, California (March 2005), Ramsey Island (August 2005), off the coast of Wales and locations in London such as the Greenway E15. High quality Duratrans (transparency for lightbox) have been created for the large-scale light-boxes. We have chosen to re-use existing boxes (re-used from the London Underground), shifting the context and meaning of a familiar urban object.
